Le Temps chronométrique
A new permanent, interactive space at the Musée d’horlogerie du Locle: 240 watchmaking objects and six centuries of history.

The project
At the Musée d’horlogerie du Locle, Vincent Jaton designed a new permanent, interactive space devoted to chronometric time. Clocks, watches and components — 240 watchmaking objects in total — trace six centuries of the history of timekeeping.
Touch tables invite visitors to explore the mechanisms and understand watchmaking precision, in direct dialogue with the pieces on display in the cases. The scenography is by Studio Oxyde.
